Digital Sandbox has been inspired by experience studying and practicing how small communities, organisations and groups work, and how digital can best serve their missions. 

The opportunity to gain and develop digital and technical skills is not equally available to everyone.

Digital inclusion is vital for economic and community advancement, as well as individual prosperity. Digital and technical skills lead to jobs, opportunities, economic growth — and those without these skills are increasingly left behind.

The Australian Digital Inclusion Index 2018 confirmed that "there are still substantial gaps between Australians who are digitally included and those who are not. In fact that gap is widening for some groups".

Developed using Asset Based Community Development principles, we know first-hand how powerful exposure to new skills and the mentoring to nurture them can be.
